June is Fast approaching!

May has been a busy month, getting settled in and going back to the valley for Grandkids stuff.  But we are here and loving it so much.  The weather as been really cool in the mornings as low as 37 degrees some days, and as high as 80 degrees.  I have all my flowers and plants  settled in and just have to water about every 3 days.  June will be a dry month they say, but July showers will be close behind.  Bill took a really nice picture of more wildflowers that are around now and I want to share them with you.
Also a picture of the deck where I have my potted plants.

May. 15 th, 2013

It's been a while since I have put anything on my blog,  my granddaughter Hannah  is logging  her trip in Germany it has given me a new interest in documenting information about our time at the Elk Haven RV park, our summer home.

First I want to start out  with the  beautiful little wild flowers that we have in the area.  This are the early bloomers.

Kaitlyn and Logan Costumes

Here are Pictures of Kaitlyn and Logan's costumes.   Kaitlyn was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, we made her costume and her hair.  It was easy to do, just lots of time stringing the yarn. Her Friend Zoe came over to go treating with her, and they made a good haul of candy.  Grandma even got some.

Logan was a Ninja, he loves Karate and stuff like that.   He took lessons for a while and really got into it, but they are really expensive, so that isn't in our future.

A Few Days with Emily and Ander

We headed up to Cave Creek, Thursday morning and got to watch Emily do her Gymnastics Class, she is really progressing,  She is growing so fast.

Then we headed home for lunch and naps.  Bill Took Clay to the Airport to meet Jenny to go to California for work and Play , their wedding anniversary is this weekend and they are having a few nights all to themselves.

Emily wanted to go on an adventure, but we really couldn't figure out what that might be, so we settled for a picnic in the back yard. We had peanut butter sandwiches, but Emily informed me that Mom makes roll ups when they have a picnics, so I rolled up her sandwich and that seemed to work. Whew!!!

Friday Morning, we  got to take Emily to School, it is a really nice school, She loves it,  I think she goes 3 times a week for 5 hours each day.  When you drop her off you have to give her a big push on the swing before you leave.

We are having so much fun.

Anderson and Cowboy (our new puppy) are playing in the back yard. Anderson and Emily have been having a good time playing with him,  and so has Coffee their dog.

Logan's Birthday 9 Years Old

Grandpa made Logan the cake of all cakes.   I thought it looked like a Space Ship, but Logan agreed with Bill that is was a Fort.   Either way it was nice and Tasty.

Doesn't that look GOOD!!!

The Beauty and The Stig

Emily and Ander were sure cute in their costumes.

Better Late than Never

Well I guess this is my motto, because I am really late on finishing my Blogg from my vacation, and then also found out, I did not have it opened up to everyone that I invited to see it.   A Senior Moment I guess.   Anyway, we made it home safe and sound and will send out invites to all again and you can see how much fun we had.   I have to find out how I can post to the blogg without being stuck to a computer.  Any sugestions please let me know.

I want to keep posting and documenting my life as a "Grandma" because time is flying by way to fast, and I want to be able to look back and remember.

There are so many precious things that my Grandchildren do and I want "them" to be able to look back and see the fun times we had together.

Thank you , Lord for giving me strength when I am weary, hope when I am disappointed and peace when I am anxious.

Bye for now

Day 7 Highlights

Wow what a great day in San Diego,  we went to the park and the kids played on the swings, it was nice and cloudy and stayed cool

I went for a walk on the board walk which was very nice, trying to get in shape.  May take quite a few walks along the broad walk looking at these pictures.  LOL

.

Hard to see but this is Emily looking at the Penguin.

We really enjoyed Sea World,  during the mingling before the show, the kids got to see a real penguin, then on to the show, we were able to set really close, so the "Killer Whale" was really big.   Emily and ander as you can see were really paying close attention. Luckily they weren't doing the big splash routine, so we stayed nice and dry.

Up front and close!

Day 7 Oct 6th 2010

Got in yesterday about 3:30 pm , the house is really nice.   Lot of room and everything you could need here.  We are 1/4 block from a coffee shop. Bill is happy-    We were going to walk down to the coffee shop for early morning coffee, but it was raining so postponed it. We will try it again in the morning.  We are going to the bay and playground area a little later with a picnic lunch.

Picture of back yard facing mother in law house.

Emily playing with toys facing East.

We are going to Sea World tonight, if we don't get rained out.  Said just showers in the afternoon, so should be good.   Love ya
